The gaming community isn’t too forgiving when it comes to copying. While there are many games that have similar features, copying is something that is generally frowned upon. While Valorant is among the most popular free-to-play titles, out there, its recent update has fans complaining of the game copying other popular franchises. With trash-talking being a significant part of the Valorant community, this new feature might be something people would love to squabble over.

ISO, the Chinese fixer for hire, enthralled fans with his gun skills in Valorant. However, one of his abilities is making the community slam the character for blatantly ripping off Call of Duty and League of Legends. ISO’s interdimensional transportation skills aren’t sitting pretty with fans and devs Riot Games might take note of the community’s opinion before Valorant players begin abandoning the game to look for new pastures.

CoD: Warzone‘s Gulag is the infamous arena that offers battle royale players a second chance to get back in the game. The Gulag can also be viewed as a training facility where players can learn the map, gain new skills, and communicate with their operators. Despite its educational teachings, the Gulag isn’t exactly the place you’d want to end up at. ISO’s new ultimate in Valorant looks like a sort of Gulag lite version where the agent can take its opponents in an interdimensional arena to fight it out 1v1.

On the other hand, Mordekaiser is a revered and feared character from League of Legends. The brutal warlord does not fear death and quite possibly has even overcome it with his mythical powers. As a way to dominate matches, Mordekaiser can bring himself and several of his enemies to the Death Realm. This ultimate attack of the character can trap players in a foggy domain for up to 7 seconds and the span can seem like an eternity for the ones who wish to return to the game.

ISO’s new ultimate seems to make fans think of Mordekaiser’s banishing prowess as players fight to escape the interdimensional arena in Valorant. While the move will obviously have its fans, most of the community members aren’t impressed.

Fans aren’t overly impressed with the new agent’s ultimate

Since ISO’s ultimate (Kill Contract) has been revealed, fans have come together to slam the game over lack of ingenuity. This fan is really confused: is the Valorant agent going to drag enemies to the fearsome Gulag?

Kyrie also thinks this ult isn’t something very impressive and also insinuates that the ult won’t be hitting the right spots with others as well.

Another fan believes the devs are out of ideas on what to do with Valorant. The fan seems so frustrated with the new agent’s ult that they might even shift over to another game.

Fans of the popular manga series Jujutsu Kaisen may have noticed something familiar with the new ult as well.

For another fan, this is the exact kind of thing that will not allow Valorant to overtake some of the classics in the genre.
