A huge crowd gathered at Union Square in NYC that soon turned violent. Popular Twitch and Kick star xQc reacted to a video that surfaced showing how a teen’s head was smashed through a windshield by the NYPD.

The unruly crowd began hurling stones and fireworks at each other as they grew impatient after the scheduled time for the giveaway was over. NYPD has made 65 arrests with many people injured till now. After Cenat returned from his vacation in Japan, he is now charged with inciting riots in New York.

xQc was stunned by how cops handled a minor during the riots

During a recent stream session, xQc was seen watching the riot footage that shook up New York City on August 4. xQc came across a video of two NYPD personnel trying to arrest a minor. During the process, the teen’s head was seen to be smashed against the windshield of a car. While the scene isn’t very pretty, it is understandable that the cops were only trying to bring the whole situation under control. The cops have made 65 arrests, with almost half of them being underage.

xQc also couldn’t hold back his astonishment at the particular incident and was seen thunderstruck by the intensity. He was heard saying “…that was pretty bad“, looking at the teen’s head being put through the windshield.

Kai Cenat incited the riot

Kai Cenat’s vacation in Japan ended abruptly after his friend and streamer ISowSpeed met with a horrible health accident. Upon returning to New York, Kai Cenat and Fanum, another streamer, called their fans to gather in Union Square with promises to giveaway electronic products including a new PlayStation 5. Throngs of fans showed up at the venue at the given time. While not all of them were unruly, some definitely were looking for more excitement at the event.

As the scheduled time passed, people started growing more and more hostile. At around 4 p.m., stones were hurled by the crowd at each other with fireworks also being set off. Cops were called to handle the situation and they weren’t shy of using force to subjugate the wild crowd.
