Paladins: Champions of the Realm originally launched four years ago in 2018. Developed by Hi-Rez, the online hero shooter’s main story takes place in a sci-fi fantasy world, known as Real or The Realm.
In this F2P, there’s a conflict going on between two factions, the Magistrate and the Resistance/Paladins. The Magistrate wants to limit the use of magic for its own selfish interest, while the Resistance wants it to be for everyone. Plus, the side of the Paladins wants to ensure that magic must be used for a good cause only.
Now speaking of the Heart of Darkness update from Xbox, the game gets a fresh Champion character in Lilith. Being on the side of Paladins, she’s ready to take on the soldiers of the Magistrate. Her Blood Hex allows her to heal herself, in combat situations, to either impose damage on her enemies or heal her allies.
Furthermore, her Swarm enables her to channel a stream of bats that heals an ally and wreaks havoc on the enemies. Her Ultimate invokes the Blood Moon, which immensely increases Lilith’s physical abilities for a given time.
Apart from Lilith, Xbox has also unveiled the Lost Future Event Pass in Paladins: Champions of the Realm. Under the Heart of Darkness update, the Lost Future enables the players to save time from a dark future.
They have the opportunity of earning 24 rewards over the course of this pass. Some of the lucrative rewards include Corrupted Atlas, Corrupted Io, Vile Atlas, and Frozen Moon Io.
