ZeniMax Media, the parent company of Bethesda Studios, also onward by the Xbox banner, is rumored to be developing a free-to-play mobile game. The leak has been fueled by a LinkedIn bio update.
Luke L., Senior Manager of Business Intelligence at ZeniMax Media, made an interesting update to their LinkedIn profile. The latter recently added some information about the next project the company is working on. “Worked closely with senior product manager and senior designer on upcoming free to play mobile game,” the bio reads.
According to the update, it seems like the alleged free to play mobile game has already made significant progress in development. If some fan theories are to be trusted, the developers will bring the mobile game as a free appeal but introduce some paid additions as it garners attention from the community. However, any official update on what to expect from a possible mobile game is yet to surface on the web.

Earlier this year, there were leaks claiming that Microsoft was eyeing their next revolution in mobile gaming. Some industry insiders even projected an Xbox Mobile Store launch by the end of 2024. Considering the recent leak, the previous theory of a mobile store only seems plausible.

In a recent interview with Famitsu, Phil Spencer, the Xbox chief, teased some exciting things to come for the Xbox community. He had expressed his vision to bring every player be it console, PC, or mobile into an association with the Xbox society. “There are also many people who play on multiple devices, such as playing on home game consoles or PCs at home, and on the cloud when they are on the go. I think this raises the question, “Is Xbox a multi-device community?” But in my opinion, Xbox is a community of players who can play on multiple devices in various places,” he stated.
