For the longest time, the popular Japanese RPG series Persona was exclusive to PlayStation consoles. Now, Sega and Atlus have decided to expand their user base and make these games multiplatform.
From Steam to Nintendo Switch to Xbox consoles, the game will be available for everyone to enjoy. Now that Persona 3 Remake is coming, it will also be available for free on Xbox Game Pass. But it appears this is not where Microsoft intends to stop. They have hired the creators of this series for one more very curious job.

Persona is a very curious series, i.e., when it comes to sheer weirdness, it really stands out. The players have to destroy very strange-looking monsters and try to manage their social lives at the same time. This is the kind of balance that not every game is able to strike.
This is what attracts players to this series. Combine all these features with some really exciting UI, awesome music, and a very interesting storyline, and all of the above sums up this series. And maybe that is why Microsoft decided that they wanted a game like this for their consoles.
During the recent Xbox Games showcase, Sega Atlus announced an interesting new game called Metaphor ReFantazio. At first, this game looked pretty unusual, but the moment combat was shown and the combat UI was revealed, fans thought it was a game from the Persona series. But by the time this trailer ended, it was clear that this was not a new Persona or Shin Megami Tensei game but a new IP altogether.
This IP would debut on Xbox and PC in 2024, and also be available on Xbox Game Pass for its subscribers to enjoy. Xbox finally has a game that many JRPG fans would kill to get their hands on. If this game launches as an Xbox and PC exclusive, it might be a very big deal.

Of course, a game like this does not convince players to switch consoles, but it sure makes them think about it.
