While Fortnite is getting a new season in Chapter 3, Epic just announced major news for the next two weeks. It will donate all the in-game earnings to Ukraine relief.
Not only that, Xbox is also joining Fortnite in this cause. The news was shared on the official Twitter page of the battle royale game.

As is already known, there is a serious situation going on the country of Ukraine right now. While there has been extended support from a number of organizations already, Epic Games has also come forward now. It will help in gathering more relief funds for those affected.

On Sunday, Epic revealed its joint effort with Xbox in this initiative on the main account of the battle royale. Starting from March 20th till April 3rd, all the proceeds from the game will go to Ukraine relief.

These two weeks will include purchases involving actual money. It applies to the purchased V-bucks, subscriptions, gifted battles passes, and certain cosmetic packs.
Well, it’s a good effort, without a doubt, by both Epic and Microsoft.
In another news, Fortnite’s Season 2 is almost here now inside Chapter 3. And this time, it’s going to be a little ‘strange’; the Season 2 is titled Resistance. You can watch its story trailer below.
Resistance brings some crucial changes, like wiping off the building in the game, which has been an iconic aspect of the battle royale. So what do all the players do now?
Well, the solution is that now they have an additional shield named the ‘Overshield’ for defending themselves. They will also gain abilities to sprint and climb faster. Simply put, it will definitely remind some players of the parkour styles from the likes of Dying Light 2: Stay Human or the Ghostrunner.

Most importantly, Season 2 brings some of the most attractive, unlockable characters such as Marvel’s Doctor Strange. That was already rumored given the fact that he’s coming back in May with a sequel titled, Multiverse of Madness.
