From the creators of million-dollar franchises like Skyrim and Fallout 4, this action role-playing game offers a new universe, which was 25 years in the making. The game is scheduled for a winter launch on November 11, 2022, on Xbox Series X|S and PC via the Xbox Game Pass.
Although it was clear that the title would be an Xbox exclusive, some fans still hoped this wasn’t entirely true. Many believed the game would be another “launch exclusive” releasing on other platforms later on. But, the devs had other ideas.
During the Bethesda Gamescom 2021 stream, senior vice president of global marketing at Bethesda Pete Hines talking about Starfield, states, “it was announced as a thing that’s an Xbox exclusive, I don’t know if I would go so far as to say you’re done ever playing stuff on PlayStation. But again, I don’t know the answer to that right now,” leading fans to think a PlayStation version was in the works.
