Without any doubt, the focus was on Call of Duty, given the current scenario. Everyone is aware about Microsoft’s proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard, being worth $68.7 billion.
Considering that, Phil Spencer said that “Call of Duty specifically will be on PlayStation.” This was to indicate that even after the acquisition by Microsoft, Activision’s billion-dollar action franchise won’t become Xbox exclusive. It will remain on Sony’s consoles as well. The Verge’s Tom Warren shared these details on Twitter.
"This opportunity is really about mobile for us. When you think about 3 billion people playing video games, there's only about 200 million households on console."
