The duo of Xbox and Bethesda will bring exciting new titles for Game Pass subscribers. Microsoft has finally confirmed the complete acquisition of Bethesda’s parent company, ZeniMax Media. With this, Microsoft has welcomed the likes of Arkane, MachineGames, Tango Gameworks, Alpha Dog, Roundhouse Studios, and id Software into its fold.

With a blog post, the Xbox head Phil Spencer shared his excitement about the future, and he is eagerly looking forward to developing impressive titles with Bethesda studio.

Spencer even shared an important announcement regarding future Bethesda titles, and how it will enhance the Game Pass and PC experience.

Xbox and PC exclusive titles will make Game pass an ideal place for new and older titles

Phil Spencer shared his thoughts about the future of Bethesda’s gaming studio with a blog post. He has stated that Bethesda titles will become Xbox and PC exclusives moving forward.

“As we shared previously, it’s vitally important that Bethesda continues making games the way it always has. We look forward to empowering Bethesda’s creative teams to reach even more players around the world, helping make future Bethesda titles the biggest and most popular games in their history.

“Xbox and Bethesda have long shared a common vision for the future of gaming. Both as fans and as creators, Bethesda understands the potential of Xbox Game Pass.”

The studio is eagerly looking forward to kick-start development with a new and enhanced team. This will turn them into the first of its kind industry-leading first-party gaming studio that can produce top-notch games effortlessly.

Spencer also stated that Microsoft will give the teams at Bethesda complete creative freedom to continue game development in the manner they best deem fit. The two gaming giants have already shared a long-standing relationship, which has now led to this acquisition.
