The Xbox community has been having the best time since the start of October. As Xbox celebrates its 20th anniversary this November, the gaming company has already revealed some of the exotic surprises fans can expect. And ahead of the occasion next month, Xbox also has something special planned for their fans.

During Minecraft Live 2021, Minecraft officials announced the evergreen game will finally come to PC along with the Xbox Game Pass!

Xbox Game Pass: Minecraft’s Arrival on PC

Game Pass PC subscribers are in for a treat as one of the best-selling games of all time is coming to the Xbox platform. Officially releasing on November 18, 2011, the game continues to record over an astonishing 140 million monthly active users to date.

Starting November 2nd, Xbox will offer a Minecraft: PC Bundle to its subscribers. Minecraft Bedrock Edition and Java Edition will be available for Xbox Game Pass PC members to claim.

Interestingly, the games will run using a unified Minecraft launcher; enabling players to easily switch between different variants of the same. It will also allow cross-play amongst platforms and will run on Microsoft’s latest operating system, Windows 11 as well. The Java edition is the original PC version and runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux. While Bedrock allows players to mine with their friends from various platforms.

Additionally, Game Pass will be the only way for players can try both editions of the game together.

An official blog post on the Xbox website also claimed they will be announcing the exact dates players can hop into the world of Minecraft soon. It said“Keep your eyes peeled here on the Xbox Wire, and @XboxGamePassPC on Twitter for updates on exactly when you can start playing,”.

Although Minecraft Dungeons has been available for all platforms, including PC for a while now, playing with friends or trying out the authentic version will be a different experience altogether for Minecraft fans.
