The Xbox boss has played almost every famous title that has been released over the past few decades. After all, he’s been a gamer since his early days at Microsoft. But all gaming enthusiasts might not be aware of exactly how much time he spends on his console during the day. Fortunately, now we have an answer to this curious question.
Xbox head Phil Spencer reveals his gaming schedule amidst a busy routine
Spencer recently had an interview with Bloomberg Technology‘s Emily Chang. The two had an extensive discussion over all things gaming and what’s Microsoft up to when it comes to the future of Xbox going forward.

However, during the interaction, Chang was very curious to know about Phil as a gaming lover. “I hear you’re still an avid gamer. How often do you play games? Like how many hours?”, she asked.
Phil Spencer was quick to reply while mentioning that he has a busy schedule but despite that, he manages to play games. He said that he has a tight routine of going early to bed at night. Simply put, he spends arguably very little time in terms of gaming.

“I probably play 15 hours a week”, said the Xbox head while emphasizing his working schedule. It’s obvious that he has to get up early in the morning which gives him less time to do anything else, especially gaming. Simply because some gamers likely end up spending more hours than him.
Still, being the head of a gaming team at Microsoft and still being able to take out time for video games is just amazing. Currently, Phil Spencer is looking forward to the acquisition of Call of Duty publisher Activision. Following the announcement earlier this year, all eyes are set on this massive deal.
