However, what might become a reason of annoyance, for some users, is the fact that you have to plug in the cables to run the Xbox in order to enjoy gaming. But one fan recently came out with a solution for this situation. Apparently, this person turned the Series S into a fully portable device.
Xbox Series S is free from cables, for usage on the-go!
Despite the fact that it’s a stunning console, the Series S needs to be mostly connected to a power source with the cables in order to operate it and play games. Considering this, a gaming YouTuber from the channel, My Mate VINCE, decided to do something creative.
Eventually, the YouTuber came up with a portable version of their Xbox console. They managed to do this by making it free from the cables, which was possible by attaching a battery to power on the console. The player actually used a car battery in order to gain as much energy as possible to make sure the portable version of the Series S ran properly.
As one can see in the clip above, the YouTuber also mentioned that the battery promised to offer 120 watts. It was seemingly enough for Microsoft‘s product which generally requires 75 watts of power. The device was using 50-60 watts on casual games in the attached screen. However, there was still an obstacle that the player couldn’t fix.

Shifting gears to play more demanding games was turning off the screen, although the Xbox stayed on, according to the player. Simply put, the console required an even bigger battery to provide a proper heavy duty experience.
All things considered, it can be said that the player can at least take their console outdoors to enjoy some titles while being on-the-go. For that purpose at least, they won’t need a bigger battery. Plus, it can also compensate for a Nintendo Switch as well, but it won’t feel like a handheld experience.
