Halo Infinite might have had a great start last year, however, there seem to be some tantamount problems that are plaguing the game. Players all over social media have been complaining about the existing bugs and glitches in the Big Team Battle mode. The fanbase was angry mostly because of a lack of response from the developers at 343 Industries.
One of the most frustrating things about this glitch is that the BTB themed weekly challenges still kept coming even while the game was not functional at its best. Halo’s Community Manager John Junyszek raised a beacon of hope with an update on a fix for this glitch. Here is how the community reacted to this!

Halo Infinite BTB mode might soon be getting a fix
John Junyszek, the Senior Community Manager for Halo at 343 Industries, announced an update for the Free For All matches earlier today. The issue consisted of stats and reward progress towards challenges not being visible to the players. However, this issue seems to have been resolved by the devs as of now.
For my fellow lone wolves and challenge hunters: if you were having issues with FFA matches not counting towards challenges, you should be in the clear now! 🐺 https://t.co/6NaXQm6ZKx

Upon the question of resolving issues with the existing BTB glitches, Junyszek has answered the query by saying that there might be an update by the end of the day.
Hey Grumpy – the team is jamming on it! We'll have an update to share before the end of the day 👍

Angry fans have also presented their other resentments in the replies section and all of them seem to be quite legit.

One of the fans says that if the game doesn’t work it costs people time and the people should be rewarded for this lost time in the form of Challenge swaps or Double XPs.
You might wanna take one out of the dead by daylight playbook. If your game doesn’t work it costs people time you reward them for lost time. Challenge swaps/double xps
