The team of Xbox just announced a big update for the hardcore players who want to remain connected always with their buddies, especially during the gameplay sessions. Discord Voice Chat is finally going to be available on the consoles, that is, the Series X|S and also on Xbox One.
From now on, the users will be able to chat through the Discord Voice channels or group calls. The most interesting aspect of this collaboration between the messaging platform and Xbox is that the feature will work natively on the console. Simply put, players will be able to interact with their friends directly through the device itself using all the Discord options and settings.

Without a doubt, this is big for all the Xbox fanatics. Now they have got another reason to brag about the device in comparison to PlayStation. For those who are unaware of the fact, Sony’s device was also going to receive full Discord support, but it hasn’t so far. And Xbox has it now, which is definitely going to make PS users frustrated. Well, it seems like they are disappointed already.
On social media, most of the PlayStation players now want Sony to bring Discord to its consoles as soon as possible. Few of the PS owners wondered how Microsoft’s device got it earlier than the PS. On the other hand, Xbox players expressed extreme happiness (well that’s quite obvious).

I can't overstate how big this is for my group of friends, 75% of which are on PC. Playing cross-platform games will be painless now, so happy this is going to be implemented, hopefully without bigger issues.
