Xbox has launched a new Halo-themed controller. 2021 is turning out to be a big year for Halo fans and gamers in general. Microsoft and Xbox aspire to cash in on the return of Master Chief. While the Halo Infinite is still months away, Xbox doesn’t want to allow the game’s hype to die away.

The company has come out with the Halo Infinite Limited Edition Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. This move is Xbox’s own way to not only drive the hype for the upcoming title but also to promote its fresh Halo controller. However, it seems like the new controller has met with a rough start, and the community is not convinced entirely.

Some Fans are not pleased with the new Halo Infinite Limited Edition Xbox Elite Wireless Controller

Last week, Halo’s official Twitter page announced the launch of the brand-new Halo Infinite-themed Xbox Elite Wireless Controller. The Halo controller is painted green in color (obviously) and has a wrap-around rubberized diamond grip. It also bears the “117” initials which so many of us have now come to love.

Apart from the aesthetics, the controller boosts some feature upgrades as well. It features the Hair Trigger Locks with three discrete settings to aid in aiming. And also new adjustable-tension thumbsticks and much more. However, some Halo fans still want more.

While the controller is excellent, some fans think a full-fledged campaign mode would have been a great announcement. Check out the tweet.

Some fans have even asked whether the sticks on the new Halo controller drift as well. Which, to say the least, is hilarious. While others think that the pricing of the controller is way off and expensive.

But there are a lot of people who like the new controller. They are trying to grab the new Halo edition controller and have largely been unsuccessful. The majority of the users want a restock and are eagerly waiting for Xbox’s announcement.

One of the fans was lucky enough to get his hands on the new controller and was more than happy to share the information.
