In an official post on its main website, Xbox unleashed the big update with the gamers across the globe. It mentioned that since the inception of the cloud service in 2020, it has made a solid growth so far. In fact, more than 10 million people have streamed various titles via the Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta). The latter is a part of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Now, it’s expanding even further by adding a number of free-to-play games for people who are interested in cloud gaming. Thus, a popular battle royale like Epic Games’ Fortnite is now available for absolutely free for everyone using the Cloud Gaming service. Moreover, the players don’t need to be member at all to enjoy this benefit.

Xbox, in a partnership with Epic, is making Fortnite accessible for the fans so they can experience it via streaming on their “iOS device, Android phone or tablet, or Windows PC through web browser”.

But this is just the beginning of such initiatives as there will be more fresh additions coming to the Cloud Gaming in the future. It implies that players will be able to immerse themselves into new games for free without having to pay anything for a membership.
