The New York Videogame Critics Circle will host the 12th edition of Annual New York Game Awards at the SVA Theatre in Manhattan on January 17. Xbox boss Phil Spencer would receive the 2023 Andrew Yoon Legend Award

The New York Videogame Critics Circle announced in November 2022 that the Xbox CEO Phil Spencer would receive the 2023 Andrew Yoon Legend Award. The Annual New York Game Awards present this legendary honor to people or organizations for their excellent work in the gaming industry.

In the past, the recipients of this award include names like Tim Schafer, Jade Raymond, Todd Howard, Hideo Kojima, and Reggie Fils-Aime. Further, the American video game company, Rockstar Games, has also received this prestigious honor.
