As 2021 gradually inches closer to its end, data is now available that shows which game ranked the highest in terms of ratings. Popular data website HowLongToBeat has come up with an interesting list of the Top 10 games of 2021 and from the list, it seems like PlayStation games haven’t done as well as Xbox or Nintendo games.
The top spots are occupied by Steam, Xbox, and Nintendo games while only one PlayStation game has made this list.

Fans react to the top-rated Games List on Twitter
From this list, It Takes Two grabbed the first spot with a 90% rating followed by Metroid Dread, Deltarune: Chapter 2, and Forza Horizon 5 at 89%, 88%, and 87% respectively. The list was filled with mostly Nintendo and Xbox exclusives, along with some PC titles from Steam.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart was the only PlayStation exclusive to make the list in sixth place with a score of 87%. This rating is on the same level as compared to Psychonauts 2 and Forza Horizon 5, which also got 87%.
Many fans were disappointed with the list and claimed that some of the deserving games did not make it. Some felt that games like Resident Evil: Village should have been at the top of the list, while others claimed that the rating for Forza Horizon 5 was unjustified.
This is an agreeable opinion because Forza Horizon 5 indeed had a great start upon release and displayed immense potential to become one of the best games within the series and in race simulation.

Not to be rude but honestly in my opinion Resident Evil Village or metroid red should have won game of the year instead it takes two ( it will cause people to have more into multiplayer games dead and wanted to do more single player) but okay
