Rockstar Games is really on a hot streak nowadays. They recently announced their much-anticipated but negatively received Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 ports of Red Dead Redemption. The reveal of their other anticipated game, GTA VI can come any time now.

No doubt, fans are pretty hyped about this upcoming game. Rockstar Games hardly makes any bad games, even if they take years before releasing follow-ups to those games. Now, among the numerous rumors for GTA VI, another much-anticipated game has appeared.

Rockstar Games might follow GTA VI with a sequel to Bully!

Who does not remember those classic games from Rockstar’s library? Games like Bully, Manhunt, Midnight Club, and The Warriors. Each one of those games was a masterpiece in its own right; there’s no denying this fact. If someone asks the fans, every single one of those games either needs a sequel or a modern remake.

Rockstar Games, although they have an obligation, follow a very specific format. They develop a GTA game, then a game from some other franchise, and then a GTA game again. This means they cannot release a sequel or remake anytime they decide to. They also need to churn out a multibillion-dollar-earning title every few years.

One such game is Bully 2. There were rumors long ago that this sequel was in development. But this rumor never became a fact. Instead, fans got the mind-blowing Red Dead Redemption 2. The game was undoubtedly a massive success. Now another GTA game is on the horizon, and it would not be unfair to expect another alternate title to launch after it.

If a recent discovery is to be trusted, then Rockstar Games is no doubt working on a sequel to Bully. This information came from the LinkedIn profile of a developer who claims to have worked on Bully 2. The problem with this information is that he worked on those games in 2008.

Now the speculation goes two ways from this point. One is that maybe this game has been canceled and will never see the light of day. The other is that maybe, just maybe, Rockstar Games has now resumed work on it and will push it for release once they have gotten GTA VI out of the door. If they did, it would be very good news.
