2023 is going to be a blast if GTA 6 and Elder Scrolls VI also hit the ground running around the release of Starfield. Starfield is not only said to be Bethesda’s largest game but also one of the largest games ever made. But, the other two are also huge titles having their unique gameplay style.
Bethesda Softworks is all set to launch its largest role-playing game yet pretty soon. Fans cannot help but wonder: What would be next for this legendary studio? In November, it would be a year since the infamous GTA 6 leak. Loads of early gameplay footage of Rockstar Games’ in-development title was leaked online by a hacker. The game was then unofficially confirmed, and then Rockstar too came out and confirmed its existence.
Ever since, fans have yet to see anything official regarding that game. One would think a game that looked like that in 2020 would be ready by now. Hence, fans keep on waiting for Rockstar to announce this game’s launch date any time now.

On the other hand, there’s Bethesda; it looks like they love announcing games way ahead of their launch. Elder Scrolls VI was announced close to five years ago. It was announced when Bethesda was literally in the middle of developing Starfield. And still, director Todd Howard claims they have no idea when Elder Scrolls VI will launch.
Here we are, waiting for the launch date of two massive games to be announced. Fans cannot help but wonder if these will clash in the near future. Both of them are massive, and by the looks of it and their timing, both of them might end up having cross-gen titles.

It would only be natural for these two to be pitched against each other. And let’s not forget, there’s a high chance Elder Scrolls VI will be an Xbox exclusive. Given the fact that Microsoft still owns Bethesda, no matter what happens, these two games clashing would be a good thing for gamers in general.
