The pocket monsters or Pokemon have seen astronomical success, making it one of the highest-grossing franchises of all time! 

Seeing the sheer size of the franchise, it won’t be surprising to know that Pocket Monsters has one of the most loyal and craziest fan bases in the world. Fans of Pokemon can go any distance to have their hands on the latest merchandise of their favorite characters. And some lucky fans can even make a good profit from collections at the right time.

World’s Biggest Collection of Pokemon to go under the hammer! 

A woman from Hertfordshire, who has been collecting Pokemon merchandise for more than 25 years, wants to sell her entire collection in an auction. This collection has more than 20,000 items.

According to one of the auction firms based in Etwall, Derbyshire, this collection can make up to $340,000. The auction will be held on 18 October and the entire haul will be sold as a single lot. 

After collecting for more than two decades, the seller said that she had to sell her entire collection because of some “financial reasons” but she isn’t going to give away her entire haul. She will be keeping some of the sentimental items.

What does this collection contain? 

The collection has trading cards, manga, posters, video games, toys, plushes, action figures, books, and even toilet paper. All these items were collected from all around the world, including the UK, France, Japan, the US, and more.

As reported by BBC News, according to David Wilson-Turner, head of the toy department at Hansons, “This is a fantastic once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own the single largest collection of the Pokemon memorabilia that has ever come to the market. It is currently being stored in a secure lock-up.”
