A few years ago, people only knew Sucker Punch as the developer behind the PlayStation-exclusive Infamous series. Those were action-adventure games set in the heart of American urban jungles, starring unlikely superheroes.

And now, the news is that a sequel to this game might be revealed very soon. A while ago, a job posting was put up that required applicants to have a “desire to write stories set in feudal Japan” and “knowledge of feudal Japan history.” This meant that the game sucker punch started working on it a long ago.
After that, some job postings were also noticed with details that suggested a multiplayer Ghost of Tsushima game was in the works. Chances are, Sucker Punch is developing a game with a multiplayer mode to accompany it.
Whatever it might be, both of these titles have now spent at least two to three years in development. This means Sony might decide to show them soon enough, or at least tease those games during this showcase.
