And the newest announcement regarding its launch has surprised many people. MLB The Show 22 will make its way not only on PlayStation but also on the Nintendo Switch. However, the Xbox players need not worry, since the title will support the cross-platform feature.

MLB The Show 22 to be on Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch

If somehow some of you are still not aware of the game, it will be the newest installment in the series based on the Major Baseball League. While San Diego is the developer, Sony Interactive Entertainment is the publisher.

MLB The Show 22 will arrive worldwide on April 5, 2022. Just recently, the makers confirmed its debut on multiple platforms. And yes, it is coming for Xbox, alongside PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.

Not only that, all the versions of the game will have cross-progression and cross-play support. Only some exclusive content will be limited to current generation consoles. Interestingly, it will be the first time for the series that a new MLB title will make its way to all three platforms: Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch.

The only concern in terms of the launch is the availability of MLB The Show 22 on PC. So far, the developing team hasn’t come out with any official word on this matter. Despite the title set to be a Day 1 release on the Xbox Game Pass, PC users might likely be disappointed.
