YouTube megastar MrBeast is known for the content creation proficiency that he delivers to the community. Currently, he enjoys the response he is getting on his recent video. Being a content creator, he has cited measures for improving content creation. He seems to have backed YouTube to dominate the industry for the next 10 years. But his close friend Elon Musk may prove his prophecy wrong.

Businessman Elon Musk shocked the world after he acquired Twitter in a $44 billion deal. Ever since he took the role of CEO of the platform, many numerous changes and policies were introduced. Some were questioned, while some were wholeheartedly accepted.

Most importantly, his current policy is the cherry on the cake for the content creators. Plus, it has the potential to dethrone every platform and make Twitter the first choice of content creators.

The new policy by Elon Musk could shadow the prophecy made by MrBeast

Recently, Musk tweeted, “Starting today, Twitter will share ad revenue with creators for ads that appear in their reply threads.” In addition to this, he also mentioned that this policy would apply to the accounts subscribed to the Twitter Blue Verified program. As soon as this tweet surfaced, the creators were jubilant as they would now be rewarded for promoting their content on Twitter.

MrBeast also joined the celebration by saying“YouTube just started splitting shorts revenue with creators, and Twitter is now sharing revenue below tweets with creators… never been a better time to get into making content!” Thus, it can be said that MrBeast loved the new move by Musk. But does it carry enough weight to beat MrBeast’s prophecy of YouTube dominating the next 10 years?

A few weeks ago, MrBeast and MIT Research Scientist Lex Fridman were seen together on the podcast panel. Fridman asked how long it would take for other platforms to take over YouTube. To this, MrBeast said“I mean it’s gonna be basically impossible. I mean YouTube’s not going anywhere. And I mean I don’t know I don’t think anyone’s gonna do what YouTube does better than them, at least not in the next 10 years.”

Jimmy did stand by the side of YouTube, but he also appreciated Musk’s moves toward ad revenue for creators. Undoubtedly, this would attract many established and aspiring creators. Additionally, this does become a move toward Twitter CEO’s intention to provide higher compensation to creators, which even MrBeast stated as a challenge.
