It is an age-old issue with Genshin Impact that miHoYo refuses to address. The horrible endgame, which makes you feel like the entire grind was worthless, is not something players took well.

There are no monsters to slay, no new journeys to be taken, and the storyline progresses at a snail’s pace. The mammoth landscape of Teyvat feels like an empty world filled with meaningless fights with random mobs.

This loneliness and lack of activities make the endgame unbearable, and gamers cannot hope to continue playing the game off the back of periodic events only. Even these things (the events) offer minimal rewards with nothing meaningful ever taking place. This makes the entire process of playing the title futile and kills any real motivation to tune in.

Genshin Impact needs a solid end game

Things aren’t ever going to improve if miHoYo continues to ignore the community. The studio first needs to accept that there is a serious issue and then work towards fixing it. As long as the developers are willing to keep a positive mindset and problem-solving attitude, things can change. However, this issue gets overlooked because miHoYo is only concerned about generating more revenue.

The answer to this problem is in the game in itself, and they are the filler events and content updates. The studio can easily make the game more interesting by leaving interesting events in the game. Events like Theatre Mechanicus, Lunar Realm, and Labyrinth of Warriors.

The developers can simply leave these interesting activities in the game and also allow players to earn primogems and other resources through the activities. Their complete removal from the game through each update fails to make any sense even after one year of the game.

These events enable players to run around the map in pursuit of an objective. Moreover, it allows them to test various character setups and output. The final floors of Abyss cannot be the only end-game content, and even that becomes quite easy to beat with the right party set up.

The title needs to have endgame content that is fun and enjoyable to do. Sadly, the studio is doubling down on Hangout events, which the community has already rejected.
