Excitement is at its height about the appearance of Lara Croft in Call of Duty. This collaboration is something fans have been waiting for since Activision’s FPS series started doing crossovers. After a long wait, the legendary gaming icon from the Tomb Raider saga is now ready to make her COD debut.
Based on strong rumors, it’s been speculated that Lara’s Operator bundle will arrive with Call of Duty Season 5 Reloaded. Fans are expecting the mid-season update to drop next week. While players are looking forward to buying it, many of them also have one question doing rounds in their minds: Which faction will Lara eventually join in Modern Warfare II? Just recently, Activision took to X (formerly Twitter) to confirm Tomb Raider’s crossover with Call of Duty. The official word from the publisher came almost a month after PlayStation had initially teased Lara’s appearance in Modern Warfare II.
Now, coming back to the big question regarding her faction details, it looks like Lara may end up being in KorTac. Why? Well, there’s a very simple reason for this possibility; but it’s not definitive. Hence, one should take it with a grain of salt for now.
So far, most of the bundles having exclusive female Operators have been released for the KorTac faction. One can even take a look at the ‘Operators’ section inside Call of Duty: MWII to notice this pattern. SpecGru is hardly having any new female Operators, apart from the base characters. There are only a handful of them.

On the other hand, KorTac has got the likes of Roze, Calisto, Stiletto, Izzy, Mila, and Valeria. In fact, a new member of Nicki Minaj’s Operator has further increased the overall number of females in this group.
Thus, it’s quite clear to see that KorTac has received the most number of new Operator bundles featuring some of the best-looking skins. And Lara Croft in Call of Duty might be another new addition to its already growing roster of characters.

Speaking of the Operator bundle itself, it might end up being highly expensive. Many of the currently available exclusive Operators in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II’s store are already tagged at a premium price. Simply put, players will need to be prepared to spend a total of 2,400 COD Points to access Lara Croft. This means they will be able to purchase her bundle only after spending an amount of $19.99.
