The magical world of Harry Potter, a land of enchantment and mystery, just begging to be explored. JK Rowling’s world came to life when Hogwarts Legacy materialized. It allowed players to experience firsthand what going to Hogwarts could have been, just like in the books. These efforts were not in vain, as the Nintendo Switch release for Hogwarts Legacy is fast approaching. With a November 14 release date, Switch fans can barely contain themselves. However, one thing they are yearning to know is if their favorite Hogwarts headmaster will be making an appearance.

The answer might be disappointing, but no, Albus Dumbledore will not be a part of the game, even on the Switch release. Earlier in the year, when the game initially came out, fans were dying to know if the leader of the Order of the Phoenix was a part of the game.
The simple answer was no. Simply put, putting Dumbledore in the game was not feasible. While alive in the early 1800s, when the game was set, Dumbledore is not old enough to attend Hogwarts. Seeing him feature in the magical world of the game is quite shocking.

Why did the Switch release for Hogwarts Legacy come later?
Hogwarts Legacy initially came out in February, earlier this year. The Switch platform did not get a release due to the hardware requirements for the game. Simply put, Nintendo did not have enough hardware juice to support a game like Hogwarts Legacy.
The main issue was the RAM. With only 4 GB available for usage, devs found it difficult to make the game perform in an adequate manner while ensuring it still looked as graphically advanced as they intended it to be. As a result, the release got pushed from February to November.
