TheGhostOfHope is a renowned industry insider on the internet. He’s earned a reputation of sharing near-accurate information on new CoD games. Recently, the scooper took to Twitter to share a theory regarding Zombies and Task Force 141. Going by their tweet, it seems there’s a slight chance of characters like Captain Price, Ghost, and Alex to encounter Zombies in MWIII’s rumored Outbreak mode.

Although Hope suggested that it might not be the case, somehow, the insider did mention another tweet from a scooper that revealed the reason for why this possibility can become a reality.

The quoted tweet from Hope reveals that Zombies are, in fact, connected to the Modern Warfare franchise. It’s because the Dark Aether storyline is canon to both the Campaign and Multiplayer as well as the rebooted MW sub-series. Taking this theory into account, it might be possible to see Task Force 141 characters coming across the undead inside Outbreak 2.0.

As for Modern Warfare III, the game was recently teased in an NBA-themed event for some select players. Apparently, they got to try out a demo from the new game which is slated to release in November 2023.
