Although this year has already witnessed some of the biggest releases in Elden Ring, Horizon Forbidden West, and Pokemon Legends: Arceus, there’s still one more heavyweight left. It’s none other than PlayStation Studios’ God of War Ragnarok, from Santa Monica Studio.
This title has gone through a lot of ups and downs when it comes to its release schedule. Originally, God of War Ragnarok was about to come out in 2021. Then it faced a major delay for one full year. And then there were speculations of another delay, hinting at the game’s launch in 2023.

Well, now it looks like the developer did notice such rumors and reports. Recently, it made a massive change to its Twitter bio, while seemingly confirming the release window for Ragnarok.
God of War Ragnarok is set to launch for PlayStation in 2022, without getting delayed any further!
The first part of the anticipated sequel arrived in 2018 and since then it has become one of the most iconic entries in the saga. The father-son duo of Kratos and Atreus has gained huge following across the gaming community to say the least.
Speaking of the next major installment, then it did receive a trailer few months ago, showcasing what to expect in the sequel. However, since then, there’s been no significant reveal or any gameplay footage from the side of the developing team.
This resulted in fans speculating about another delay for Ragnarok until 2023.
However, Santa Monica seems to have dismissed such rumors in its own fashion recently. If you go to the official Twitter account of the studio, as of now, you will see that its bio has mentioned the release schedule for God of War Ragnarok. It’s coming out for PS5 and PS4 in 2022 itself.
