The internet houses several talented streamers, both new and old. However, some of them have left a legendary mark in the community. Among the most popular video game streamers are Michael ‘Shroud’ Grzesiek, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, and Herschel ‘Dr Disrespect’ Beahm IV who have entertained millions of fans with their impeccable gaming and communication skills.

Most streamers, including Shroud, Ninja and Dr Disrespect, started their career on Twitch. Twitch is a perfect platform for streamers to showcase their talent, earn money, and followers at the same time. However, many Twitch creators decide to make a switch to other platforms like YouTube Gaming on accounts of better possibilities.

Two of the most influential streamers in the world, Ninja and Shroud, had once left the Twitch community for Microsoft’s Mixer. However, they found their way back to the platform when Mixer shut down. On the other hand, we have Dr Disrespect who was banned from Twitch permanently. He switched to YouTube full-time after the same.

Why is Dr Disrespect lagging in viewership?

With Shroud announcing a competitive comeback and Ninja participating in a huge LoL showdown against MrBeast, both received a major boost in viewership. Interestingly, Dr Disrespect hasn’t had a spike in viewership for a long time now.

While Ninja and Shroud managed to garner a huge number of views over recent events, Dr Disrespect hasn’t been able to stay as much in the limelight. The reason behind Dr Disrespect’s reduced view count could be a lack of exciting ventures in his career.

Following his permanent ban from Twitch, he switched to YouTube full time and never strived to return to the platform. The Twitch ban has had its obvious impact on his viewership. But he still managed to pick up the pace on YouTube and soon garnered a lot of subscribers.

Although his following on YouTube is great, Dr Disrespect doesn’t enjoy high viewership on his content currently. His quirky personality doesn’t seem to be doing its trick anymore. On the other hand, Ninja and Shroud have enjoyed a steady increase in their popularity since their return to Twitch.

According to present circumstances, a return to Twitch could massively boost Dr Disrespect’s viewership. Moreover, he can also indulge in collaborations like Ninja, who gained incredible traction from his LoL challenge against YouTube Star MrBeast.
