GTA 6 seems to be all that everyone wants to talk about. Rockstar Games‘ next title is the focus of intense debates inside the gaming community. However, not everyone is as excited about the next GTA title. Some are looking forward to sequels to other cult classics like Square Enix’s Sleeping Dogs and Rockstar’s very own Bully.

It’s worth remembering that Sleeping Dogs failed to live up to the publisher’s expectations with regard to market performance. This was the primary reason for sequel plans being canceled. Bully, on the other hand, was often slammed for being an extremely offensive game, resulting in the title falling off the radar for many fans. This makes a recent tweet from a fan in favor of the titles all the more interesting.

Speculations about the next GTA game are rampant. GTA V was released almost a decade ago and fans can’t wait anymore for an official announcement by the devs about the next one. Rumors of the staggering costs for GTA 6 are already making their rounds within the community. Furthermore, there is also a widespread belief that GTA 6 will have a huge map. Yet, many believe that Rockstar won’t drop any news for at least a few more years.

The incredible community hype and expectation around GTA 6 don’t seem to sit well with many fans. While the Grand Theft Auto franchise is undoubtedly brilliant, there are many smaller titles that also boast superb storylines and action-packed gameplay.

The incessant GTA 6 discussions seem to have drowned out talk about these smaller but well-loved titles. A fan recently decided to bring them back into the spotlight with a tweet.

Fans want a Sleeping Dogs sequel

A recent tweet by a fan cut through the endless drone of GTA 6 speculations. The tweet claims that while GTA 6 may be highly anticipated, fans are more interested in sequels of games like Sleeping Dogs and Bully.

Although Sleeping Dogs’ intense narrative of infiltrating and taking down organized crime syndicates was great, the game failed to make a dent in the market. Bully, on the other hand, was often cited as offensive and inappropriate. However, there is a dedicated following for these titles.

Fans on Twitter rushed to voice their approval of the tweet. One fan, who goes by Zeta, couldn’t help but give an “Amen” to the post.

Timothy is equally eager for something similar.

Another fan still isn’t over the cancellation of the same.
