Which States Will Serve As Major Hotspots for GameStop’s Nation Wide PlayStation 5 Restock?

The next big GameStop PlayStation 5 restock has been announced, and it’s happening today (March 11. 2022). GameStop stores are gearing up for a Nationwide PlayStation 5 restock. However, sadly, similar to every PlayStation 5 restock by GameStop, the supply will be limited to only bundles. That means you have to pay a bit extra for the PlayStation console for pack-in games, subscriptions, and controllers.

At the time of writing, GameStop hasn’t revealed the specific locations for the restock drop officially. However, according to Matt Swider (reliable insider), fans in some given states will could have a greater chance of obtaining the console. With this in mind, the top 5 states that will serve as a major hotspot for GameStop’s Nation Wide PlayStation 5 Restock are:

• California -175 store location
•  Texas – 91 store locations
• New York – 71 store locations
• Florida – 64 store locations
• North Carolina- 39 locations

With this in mind, the total price will be close to $800 for everything included. This bundle includes two of the newest PlayStation 5 titles – Horizon Forbidden West and Grand Turismo 7 (special edition).

Well, unfortunately, just like 2021, it’s still almost impossible to get your hands on next-gen consoles due to the chip shortage. The global shortage continues to challenge the hardware console market out there. And sadly, on top of all this shortage, the reseller market is still very much active.  The scalpers continue to poach online restock by grabbing a large chunk of restocking with bots.

The same story happened in 2021 as well as in 2022. However, luckily GameStop is back with another big restock. Something worth noting here is that eyeing for a bundle instead of a single console can increase your chances to a great extent.
