When Nintendo announced this title, fans did not love it. They wanted a realistic-looking Zelda title with much darker themes, but they got a cel-shaded title.
But when this game launched and fans discovered what it had to offer them, they paved the way for it to become the best game in the series. All thanks to its innovative ideas and beautifully distinguished world. A world that was a huge sea with small islands in it.
Majora’s Mask
Zelda: Majora’s Mask is considered by almost everyone to be a sequel to the Ocarina of Time. Telling a dark tale of a world’s destruction, this game is undoubtedly the most inventive in the series.
Its time-loop mechanic really keeps players hooked on this exciting game. They can plan their time with it, decide when and how they would do what, and of course, save the world. If nothing else, the moon crashing into earth is something of a big deal, and players constantly work to stop this from happening.

Ocarina of Time
A very skeptical Link is informed by a huge tree of some weird problems to come. He sets out on a journey to inform others of it. This game has a time span of numerous years. Considered by many to be the best title in this series it was Zelda series’ first step into the world of 3D.
And the best part is that, to this day, this game holds up pretty well.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom
No matter what anyone says, these two titles are more alike than they are different. Looking pretty much the same, then come those abilities Nintendo added to Tears of the Kingdom in contrast to Breath of the Wild.

Still when it comes to story and excellent visual aesthetics. There cannot be another game in the series that looks even the slightest bit better than these two. What these games offer players in terms of visuals and gameplay is what makes them better. The story is just fine and is enough to put these games amongst some of the best Zelda titles ever made if not at the top of that list.
