Where and How To Mark an Alien Egg in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7

Quests are a huge part of Fortnite as they offer players the chance to level up faster. This week, there are five legendary quests that players will have to complete to get max XP. One of the legendary quests some might find tricky to complete is called Mark an Alien Egg. And completing this quest is important since it offers 30,000 XP as well as brings you a step closer to the ultimate goal of completing all the legendary quests.

Fortnite: completing the legendary quest

The game will suggest looking for the alien eggs in Holly Hatchery. Which players can do, but it isn’t ideal. The ideal and least-time consuming method to mark an alien egg involves getting to the center of the map. Southeast of Boney Burbs across the water, right next to the purple center, is the exact location. Players can get there at the beginning of the game or later in the game, though landing in the region at the beginning might make the whole ordeal even less time-consuming.

The area will contain the eggs, and all the player will have to do is mark them from a distance. Marking an egg is super easy. The player just has to press the button they use to ping landmarks/locations. If the player hasn’t messed around with the controls, the button they will have to press is the scroll on the mouse. And if they have messed with the controls, they will need to figure out which button they use to mark locations or go to control settings and find out.

Once the right button is pressed, the quest will officially be completed and players will be rewarded with 30,000 XP. These quests are usually easy, and this one is no exception. And as always, this quest will need to be completed before the arrival of new legendary quests.
