Well, it looks like one passionate gamer and deepfake artist had a similar thought in mind when they decided to go creative with an old Call of Duty game. Eventually, this artist was, somehow, able to bring popular Hollywood actor Keanu Reeves to one of the Black Ops games.

The tech behind deepfake basically involves replacing an existing person in an image or clip with someone else’s resemblance. The deepfakes in modern-day are really powerful, thanks to the highly advanced machine learning. Due to this, sometimes they are used in an inappropriate manner online.

However, there are some individuals who try to come up with interesting demonstrations using such tools. It becomes quite evident looking at this video below. It features none other than Keanu Reeves, from the John Wick franchise, inside a Call of Duty Black Ops title!

As one can see, the YouTuber from a channel named BabyZone, has almost nailed the art of deepfake by bringing Keanu Reeves into the world of Activision’s action-packed Black Ops game. Although the clip is nearly three years old, it’s absolutely breathtaking, to say the least. Just look at the details on the face of the character having a similarity to Reeves. The end result is simply amazing and there’s no doubt about it.

The YouTuber mentioned in their description that they used DeepFaceLab V2 by IPerov for this video. They recorded all the cut-scenes and gameplay for the clip using their own gaming setup. Eventually, they applied deepfake to the raw footage and edited it like a stylized trailer.
