Call of Duty Modern Warfare II devs are making all their efforts in order to keep the players hooked to the current installment. On top of that, they are also bringing unique ways to attract new fans to the action-shooter franchise through what’s called a Free Access Week.

It is something COD makers have continued to introduce in recent years in their titles. Its purpose is to influence those players who don’t have an experience with the FPS series. Carrying this tradition forward, the devs have recently brought back another week to offer gaming nerds a chance to dive into the COD universe – without paying a single a penny.

What’s there in store for players during Call of Duty Modern Warfare II’s Free Access Week?

There’s a lot to get excited about in the ongoing free access period. Especially for those who are thinking of having a taste of what it feels like being a COD player. The ongoing week for the Multiplayer content, that started on September 13, includes brand new maps like DRC Zone 1. This area is packed with tons of modes to enjoy, having tight interior spaces. Furthermore, new players can also access other engaging maps like Punta Mar and Strike. All these maps are part of the Season 5 Reloaded update.

Moreover, individuals who are thinking of jumping into Call of Duty Modern Warfare II can also experience its amazing Multiplayer modes. Alongside Team Deathmatch, Domination, Search & Destroy, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, and Grind, they can also dive into Wreak Havoc. The latter is a brand new, original MP mode that was introduced with a mid-season update last month.

What’s important to note is that the Free Access is limited to just 2.5 in-match hours. Which means players can only enjoy the MP content for an entire duration of 2.5 hours only throughout the week.

What’s the last day to try out Modern Warfare II for free?

Fortunately, gamers who haven’t actually jumped into the game yet can still make the most out of the free access period. According to the official blog from developers, the Free Access of Multiplayer will be available till September 20, 2023. In other words, new players still have around six days to try the ongoing installment.
