Fans had been waiting for Forza Motorsport 8 in anticipation since its announcement in 2020. This game was originally scheduled for release in 2020, but circumstances didn’t permit it. Although it is set for release in October, the previous team considered publishing it during spring, which didn’t happen. This increased the amount of excitement and anticipation among Forza fans about this game.
Now a source confirmed that Forza Motorsport 8 might not have drag or drift events at launch. According to this source, Forza’s creative director confirmed the news to the fans.
Since the news hit the headlines, fans were spotted being disappointed with the team’s decision. Adding to the news, this source further added that once the base copies are shipped to the public, the developers might start working on drag and drift events. One Forza fan was spotted angrily asking about the team’s motive.
What's the pattern behind this? What is it about drag/drift that it's delayed launch in their games? Something they haven't figured out or just trying to push an unfinished product out like so many these days?

It seemed like fans were angry to know that developers took so long for nothing.
