Recent leaks have revealed that the upcoming premium offering from Activision in 2023 will be called Modern Warfare III. As of now, it’s not confirmed but insiders have claimed that it will arrive with exciting content upon release. Most importantly, it’s rumored to come up with a massive battle royale map for Warzone 2!

In one of his newest leaks, shared through an article, the insider mentioned a lot of exciting details for this year’s entry. It’s expected to be helmed by Sledgehammer Games – the studio behind Vanguard.
Moreover, the leak also revealed a new Warzone 2 map. The latter will be unveiled during Call of Duty Modern Warfare III’s first season. Precisely speaking, this map is going to be Las Almas.

For those who are not aware, Las Almas was an important part of Modern Warfare II’s Campaign. It was seen during the mission ‘Alone’ where Soap had to survive by escaping Shadow Company using stealth tactics. In general, this fictional city is located in the region of New Mexico. Mostly, it is a hilly area in northern side of the country, near the border of Texas in the United States.
Per the leaks, Las Almas will act as the next major battle royale area for Warzone 2. Interestingly, players have already got portions of this place in the form of Multiplayer maps. Modern Warfare II features Mercado Las Almas and Santa Sena Border Crossing for various 6v6 modes. However, witnessing this region in a full-fledged form will be amazing for Warzone 2 fans.
