Now the British boxer Anthony Joshua recently fought against Ukraine’s star Oleksandr Usyk in a heavyweight title rematch. The latter won the match while also successfully retaining his world title. After the fight, though, Joshua said that he’s not aware of what’s actually happening in Ukraine right now. To many, it felt like he ignored commenting on the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

“I’ve never been there. What’s happening there, I don’t know but it’s not nice,” said Joshua. Among those who were furious at his words was  s1mple. He later posted a tweet on his account, while tagging the British boxer. The NAVI member was seriously in shock and disbelief after what Joshua said regarding his nation.

To put it straight, s1mple couldn’t believe that someone like Anthony Joshua would say that in order to be safe from commenting on anything controversial. Per the CS:GO pro player, this was like ignoring reality. Hence, he literally expressed his anger towards the two-time former unified world heavyweight champion in the tweet.

While whatever Joshua said may be purely unintentional, many people haven’t appreciated his words. That’s exactly what can be seen in s1mple’s tweet as well. What are your thoughts on this entire situation?
