Black Cat to accompany Peter for a mission in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2? 

Although Black Cat had little to no screen time in 2018’s Spider-Man, the character played a much more significant role in its DLC. However, all the official glimpses of the title haven’t pitched Black Cat as the top tier of appearances in the game. The most common fan theory suggests Felicia Hardy, the real identity of Black Cat, would be sprinkled throughout the course of the story. In simpler terms, she would be making around four to five appearances or more overall accounting for a fair share of the story. Another possibility is besides making frequent appearances, Hardy would feature in a long stretch mission along with Peter Parker. 

Drawing parallels with The Heist DLC 

The charm of Black Cat worked wonders on the webheads in the DLC releases for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2018. A rare set of fans claim that Insomniac might follow a similar pattern with the sequel and include the character later in the DLC. Apparently, this seems quite unlike the developers as they wouldn’t want to follow such predictable patterns. 

Three months after the main game’s events, Spider-Man’s ex-girlfriend Black Cat (Felicia Hardy) returns to the city for a heist. This sends him plunging into the murky world of the city’s crime families and ultimately into a gang war with Hammerhead at its center. This results in some interesting conversations between the web-slinging superhero and the vengeful burglar. As the DLC moves on, Peter tries to understand the complexity of Black Cat as a character.
