For the most part, Xbox is considered one of the most underrated gaming consoles in the selected few hardware that have made gaming easier for fans. But what is even more surprising is that most of the time there has been a cold war between Xbox and PlayStation that continues to date. But there was a time when Xbox was considered one of the best consoles on the market after it was launched in 2001 by Bill Gates and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

Notably, The Rock recently retweeted a post by the official Game of the Year account sharing the fact that 07 January was the 22nd birthday of Xbox when it was first revealed by Dwayne and Gates together at CES.

In a recent post, ‘The Game of the Year’ official account on Twitter wrote, “22 years ago today at #CES 2001, @TheRock and @BillGates revealed @Xbox to the world.”

Notably, even though The Rock is not very open about his gaming obsession, it seems that he himself has been a part of several gaming ventures, making him one of the most featured real-life celebrities in video games.

Several fans said that they are also happy that Xbox was able to sustain its position for so many years. Moreover, MrBeast’s close aide Karl Jacobs said that Xbox is his favorite console.

One fan wrote, “Wow. Did not know this. Kiddos have been gaming since they were little and I’m just now finding this out.”
