Blizzard Entertainment is looking to make Diablo 4 a difficult game to get through. As if having Uber Lilith wasn’t enough of a turmoil, the devs are in the works to introduce another “Uber” monster.
Diablo 4’s primary quest designer has recently revealed that the game may be receiving yet another Uber boss at some point in the near future. Since its release, the action RPG has received a lot of approval from the community. Now as another Uber boss is rumored to join the roster, fans are curious how this will change the gameplay.
Diablo 4 turning tides

Diablo IV was released amidst the ongoing Xbox-Activision drama. While the Xbox makers are set to take over the Call of Duty developers, it hasn’t stopped Diablo 4 from performing extremely well on PlayStation consoles. With Microsoft receiving a green signal from the US court for the deal, a plethora of new games is set to hit Xbox Game Pass soon. Microsoft will also soon have direct control over multiple Activision-Blizzard titles.
Diablo 4 also recorded a jaw-dropping $666 million within 5 days of its release. One of the primary reasons for Diablo 4’s great performance in the market can be attributed to its army of villains who have made an incredible impression among the fans. From Tchort, Herald of Lilith to Lilith herself, all bosses from each tier present varied difficulty levels for players to overcome and gain more XP.

Andariel, Maiden of Anguish is still the driving force behind Diablo 4’s third act, who is a formidable foe for anyone. Elias and Lilith, the two main antagonists also have some impressive attacks under their belt. While all these bosses are good, critics believe they could have been even better.
Another “Uber” to make things worse
Now, to satiate a thirsty community, Diablo IV devs may have something planned with the incoming Season 1. One of the designers of Diablo 4, Medeline James, said in an interview, “…we’re adding a new Uber Boss that will help make endgame content fresh.” While Lilith is currently the only boss in the game with an “Uber” title, the announcement has fans excited.

This has fans further speculating on which boss may be reintroduced in Diablo IV with an “Uber” tag. Varshan the Consumed is among the first names coming to mind since the character was already hinted at by the devs as an introduction with the Season 1 updates. The new updates are scheduled to arrive on July 20 and fans can’t wait to see for themselves which new Uber monster is ready to make their lives hellish.
