Sentinels have made a roster move yet again. This time, however, it has worked in their favor. This new roster has managed to keep the team’s hopes alive to make the playoffs in Valorant Americas. After their IGL, Dephh decided to leave the roster, and the chances of Sentinels qualifying were looking meek. The return of their star player TenZ and subsequently Marved taking up the mantle of IGL did wonders for the team.
Now the squad is gearing up for their do-or-die match against Furia on May 18. Before the much-awaited matchup, TenZ has given his honest opinion on the current roster of Sentinels.

When asked about their new IGL and the departure of Dephh, TenZ did not hesitate to speak his mind. He clarified that Marved is picking up the IGL role and is doing a solid job. But he feels, right now, the team is still not stable enough. “Obviously, we’re not as structured since it was kind of like a last-minute thing with like this whole roster,” he clarified. TenZ added, “and we’re kind of playing with the flow.”
He stated the current roster is focusing more on creating coordination with each other and having fun. The interviewer also asked TenZ about the current state of comms for this new roster. The pro’s main focus currently is bringing good vibes to the team. He said, “Looking at the last match against Furia obviously we’re going to try our best.”
The Sentinel centerpiece shared his honest opinion on the team’s current standing in the league and said if it happens it happens, showing he is not worried about the playoffs. Coach Kaplan, however, wanted his team to give out their best during the final matches. And for that, he has a strategy.
Sentinels’ coach talks about the new strategy of the team
With a new IGL coming Kaplan devised a strategy to increase the comms in his team. While talking to Dot eSports, he said, “It was an opportunity to call on everybody to chime in and say what plays they wanted to make, and give [Marved] stuff to work with.”
