Charlie Day reveals a few things about the Nintendo Super Mario Bros. movie

While Chris Pratt plays the titular role as Mario in the movie, one should not neglect Luigi within the Marioverse. While his role is being a sidekick to Mario, he is still one of the most iconic characters in the series who wears green, battles ghosts, and plays tennis. Let’s not forget his antics, which include his overdramatic displays of shock and terror.

When Jimmy Kimmel asks Charlie about his role in the upcoming Super Mario Bros. movie, he replies, “I am playing Luigi, yeah!”. It seems like Charlie is under some serious obligation to not reveal anything about his role in the movie. He further adds, “I would love to tell you all about it, but they [Nintendo] are top secret with this stuff.”

It seems like the producers are quite hard and fast about not leaking any information about their upcoming movie. Charlie Day also makes a joke about how no information about the movie is supposed to go out.

“I show up and they’re like you say this and you say that, and it’s all very funny and good. And then I walk out, and there’s like two guys in overalls with like hammers that are like ‘don’t you tell nobody nothing about this, Charlie. I swear to god we’re gonna get your knee caps. We’re gonna break your neck!'”

It seems like Nintendo is indeed cooking something really amazing with their upcoming movie title.
