The highly anticipated open-world RPG based on the mysterious world of Harry Potter, Hogwarts Legacy, has finally hit the shelves. So far, the game has garnered mostly positive reviews all around the board. The open world map and the in-depth story, mixed with charming characters and impressive set-pieces, have made Hogwarts Legacy the experience fans have been craving ever since the PS1 era.

One of the most impressive aspects of the game is the immersive in-game world. While the open-world map is filled to the brim with mysteries and explorable secrets giving a sense of exploration, the indoor scenarios and the interaction between the NPCs are so brilliantly fleshed out that everything feels alive.

Much like some of the pinnacles of immersive open-world in the gaming industry, like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Witcher 3, Hogwarts Legacy has an overworld that makes the players feel they are living in a magical world. One such example of NPC interaction is the recently viral fight between the guard armors in the Hogwarts School.

“Armorcide” Armours in the Hogwarts Legacy engage in a violent fight

From paintings to decorative armors, everything is alive in the Hogwarts School. The inanimate object in the school has just as much personality as the people in that building. And Hogwarts Legacy does an amazing job of capturing this essence of magic and life from the fantastical wizarding world.

Recently a short clip made its round on the internet. In it, two armors could be seen bashing themselves out in the halls of Hogwarts. The fight is so real and violent that players choose to turn invisible and run away as the best option in this scenario.

Fans were equally shocked after watching this hilarious duel

So far, there isn’t an official answer as to why the armors fight so violently and one destroys the other. But the fans have some theories (humorous) as to why this may have occurred. According to the fans, the armor on the left has a bad habit of humming all the time. And getting severely annoyed by his constant noise, the right armor may have decided to stop it once and for all.
