Spider-Man 2 takes you on a ride at the Coney Islands 

During the promotions of the PS exclusive, Insomniac Games has constantly emphasized the scale of the sequel. Being a very important release for Sony in the context of console rivalry, it seems like Spider-Man 2 has been included with every bankable resource. Some of these upgrades include new powers, multiple villains, and the ability to switch between Miles Morales and Peter Parker. However, the buzz mostly has been around how the next arrival expands the map size of Spidey’s virtual world. 

The cities that will be explored in the game are much more detailed, expanded, and vast. Hence, the only thing left to complete the American picture is an amusement park. Or maybe that’s already been taken care of. The game brings Coney Islands, a southwestern beach in Brooklyn that has some of the best rides to enjoy.

Players will even be able to ride these attractions, according to Insomniac Project Director Jeannette Lee. Lee used the game’s portrayal of Coney Island as an example of how Insomniac views progressing the open-world superhero game genre in an interview with German publication Golem. So, if somehow you haven’t visited Coney Island yet, no worries. Your hero in Insomniac Games wouldn’t be deprived of the fun.
