The update finally arrived at our doorstep bringing a brand new map, Battle Pass, and Zedd’s skin bundle Spectrum. Riot Games teased all these things before rolling the Act 2 of Episode 3. Shroud got the chance to play this map before the latest update went live for the rest of the world.
The famous streamer loved the map design and the entire concept of the map. It was quite a refreshing change from playing in the open-ended maps like Icebox and Breeze and from the tight corners of Split, Haven, and others.
Riot Games indeed came up with yet another innovative design that no one really predicted, with bombsites containing multiple entry points and the entire map feels like a maze at best. This means that attackers can access these sites from more than one route easily.

Shroud thinks the latest Valorant update actually favors the attacking side
The multiple entrances of the map make it seem like an attacking-sided design. Attackers can easily jump between two extreme sides of the map, which will definitely help them to swamp a bombsite. The map will promote a unique type of attacking strategy that offers incursion from two sides.
This is something that can’t be so easily pulled off on other maps, and defenders usually block off areas with their presence and pick up vital information about any rotation that is being made.

This map has brought Sentinel agent Cypher back from the dead. This agent can cover multiple entrances easily with his kit, which makes him a valuable addition to any team. Lastly, the map greatly. favors duelists like Yoru, Pheonix, and Reyna that can lurk around the map and flank enemies every step of the way. Support agents like Skye, Astra, and Brim might outshine everyone on this map.
