TimTheTatman has come a long way from using a duct-taped camera to hosting a grand event for his fans. However, the famous gaming streamer had to pay off a debt in a painful way before the start of his event.

Timothy John Betar is one of the best streamers in the world who started streaming on Twitch in 2012. He used to stream games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch, and World Warcraft. However, he came into the spotlight in 2017 after streaming Fortnite.

However, the American streamer later moved to YouTube. He currently has around 4.59 million subscribers on his channel. TimTheTatman is hosting a summer event, ‘Tatman Tailgate’, for his fans at the Ford Center in Frisco, Texas.

Further, it would be a two-day event, from July 16 to 17. Fans will get the opportunity to meet Tim. Moreover, they could meet many more streamers and famous internet personalities. Many well-known streamers like NICKMERCS, OpTic Hitch, SypherPK, Castro, and Clara are also going to be present.

TimTheTatman got slapped at his Tailgate event

The 32-year-old hoped it to be a fun event, but he didn’t know that he would have to start the event with a slap from a fellow streamer. At the event, famous Twitch streamer Clara Gomez, also known as Claraatwork, hit the American streamer.

Clara is a Twitch streamer who streams video game content. Further, she is signed to Complexity Gaming, an organization part-owned by Timothy. She slapped TimTheTatman before the Tatman Tailgate began and said, “Deserved.” The reason for the slap was because Tim lost to NICKMERCS at the Battle Of The Ages’ MFAM Gauntlet UFC event.

Team Tim led the event after winning all the Apex Legend matches against Team NICF. Then Tim just had to win just one of the five EA SPORTS UFC 4 matches. However, TimTheTatman lost all matches, and NICKMERCS won the event. Further, the winner took home $100,000.

Further, Clara was a vital part of winning the Apex Legend matches, as she had the most kills. However, there were no hard feelings in the slap, as Clara had just joyfully punished Tim for failing to win the event.
