Watch: OfflineTV Nails Hilarious April Fool’s Parody of Greatest Stunts of MrBeast

Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast, has grown into much more than just an online influencer. His signature content formula and charm have set the bar for an entire generation of YouTubers and content creators, who imitate his videos in the hopes of garnering a fraction of Jimmy’s success. 

The online content group, OfflineTV, consisting Pokimane, Scarra, LilyPichu, Disguised Toast, and Michael Reeves, among others. Planned to play a skit based on the overly saturated genre of YouTube for the April Fools. In their latest video, the group hosted multiple parody challenges like staying inside a red circle for days to win a worn-down Toyota car, being buried alive for 200 hours while singing constantly, and more. 

OTV Takes on MrBeast in their new “Very Serious Video”

MrBeast’s reputation has almost transcended into an iconic status in the YouTube circle. But most of the viewers would agree that his videos, at times, feel kind of surreal. The scale and the stakes almost feel uncanny. The American online content creator group, OTV takes on that aspect of his videos and ponders upon the ‘dark side’ of MrBeast. 

The group staged multiple “MrBeast’ fashioned challenges with some “serious twists”. Member Masayoshi imitated the character of MrBeast as he exaggeratedly hyped up the contestants while laughing in some serious moments. Awarding a ‘giveaway’ worth $10,000 to QuarterJade for making him laugh. 

The first challenge was inspired by Jimmy’s iconic red circle challenges. Masayoshi put all the group members in a red circle and told them, the last one to leave will get the worn-down car. He only provided them with 1 bottle of water every 24 hours and didn’t give them any food. To make the stakes more absurd, he revealed that a sniper is on standby who has the participants in his sight.

Meanwhile, LilyPichu spent 200 hours buried underneath the earth. But unlike Jimmy’s version, Lilly had to constantly sing, or else her friends would cut off her oxygen supply. On the other hand, Scarra was counting 1 billion barbies with DisguisedToast. Pokimane and Masayoshi reacted to Scarra’s ‘live challenge’.

All the challenges ended in tragedy. In the red circle challenge, Yvonnie got shot in the leg and had to forfeit unwillingly. Lily slept inside her buried coffin as all her friends stranded her. Scarra choked on Oarbies after he attempted to taste them. Eventually, Masayoshi gave a farewell message, confessing it all to be a joke for April Fools and that their “very serious video” was nothing but a tribute to MrBeast.
