Jimmy Donaldson, better known by his iconic name of MrBeast, needs no introduction for his work and his current popularity across the globe. Perhaps he’s the only YouTuber who’s liked by almost everyone on the internet, thanks to his creative ways of coming up with entertaining content.

But there was a time when Jimmy wasn’t the MrBeast he’s today. He was just starting out his early days while trying to be a YouTuber like any other young individual.

It was in 2015, almost seven years ago, when Jimmy Donaldson wasn’t a household name. And being a budding YouTuber is never easy for anyone, especially at a young age. His situation was no different, to say the least.

MrBeast was just seventeen years old when he was struggling to set up his room to make videos. As can be seen in the clip above, Jimmy gives a brief tour of his room while trying to prepare for the installation of Windows 10 for the first time on his system. For those uninitiated, 2015 was also the year when the operating system first launched officially.

While waiting for Windows 10 to boot, MrBeast roams around in his house to show his room and other stuff.

Coming across his camera in a corner, he mentioned he had to tape his old baseball case to set it on top of it because he was “kind of poor”. The baseball case belonged to one of his home run things.

Since he had limited options back then, in 2015, MrBeast had to look for workarounds almost always.

Fast forward to 2022, and now he’s able to have various setups that can be worth $3.5 million on average. MrBeast has really come a long way since his early days on YouTube. Because of his consistent push to work hard, he’s now able to achieve anything he aspires for.
